Can a tbi worsen Alzheimer’s symptoms? My wife was in a car accident in January 2020, treated for concussion due to air bag deployed at 55 mph. Started with memory, speech, vision, and cognitive issues. After 3 year of symptoms worsening I requested further evaluation. Last fall she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. So I’m told by the insurance company she already had this disease and the accident didn’t cause the disease. Furthermore, they don’t acknowledge that the car accident TBI accelerated her symptoms. She now is in her final stage of Alzheimer’s and our lawyer can’t reason with the insurance company. Any thoughts

Can a TBI affect our eyes, eg I now have reading glasses only had them for 5 months but I still need to use a magnified glass too.
Shapes and sizes, things seem like they are really close I get such a fright, only that's not the case at all.
What happens if a TBI was not treated until years later?

My wife was in a car accident and treated for tbi or concussion. Her vision was changing for the worse, mostly depth perception and later no peripheral. 3 years later diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. The symptoms are similar for both. I hope this isn’t your issue. You may need a neuro ophthalmologist or neurologist
