Since 1980, Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) has delivered post-acute medical treatment, therapeutic rehabilitation and disease management services with highly-trained staff for individuals recovering from acquired brain injury. CNS offers a broad menu of rehabilitation services through its individualized treatment programs. Located on ETMC Tyler's Olympic Plaza Campus, the ETMC Rehabilitation Center offers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Inpatient rehabilitation beds and services designed for neurological and orthopedic patients. The rehab team includes clinical and operational specialists who create a treatment plan and communicate with the patient’s family members.

Highlands Regional Rehabilitation Hospital offers an inpatient rehabilitation program for traumatic brain injury survivors. The program provides rehabilitative nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and other services. The brain injury rehab program focuses on self-care skills such as: feeding, grooming, bathing and dressing, mobility skills such as transferring, walking or self-propelling a wheelchair, communication skills in speech and language, and cognitive skills such as memory or problem-solving, social skills for interacting with other people.

Mary Lee Foundation (MLF) is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) service provider, specializing in residential treatment and vocational services for persons with disabilities. MLF is governed by a Board of Directors whose members are actively involved with the organization. MLF is a pioneering force in the initiative to de-institutionalize and normalize the lives of intellectually disabled clients, providing them the opportunity to live, learn, and work in the community.

Moore County Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. These include physical, speech, and occupational therapies. The hospital has a 60-bed long term care nursing center.

NeuroRestorative’s Dripping Springs program provides a wide range of active rehabilitation and other supports for people with brain injury and other challenges, including: inpatient neurorehabilitation, day programming, supported living, outpatient services, neurofunctional home and community programs.

Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood in Castle Hill, we offer inpatient and transitional living programs in a home-like environment with access to the amenities of the surrounding community and nearby San Antonio. Just a few blocks away, our day treatment program provides a therapeutic setting for outpatient services. Our San Antonio program is conveniently located in close proximity to city’s military bases and medical resources, offering the opportunity for collaboration and continuity of care, as well engaging community integration.

In 2002, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation (BIR)  were awarded a five-year grant to be a Traumatic Brain Injury Model System (TBIMS) by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR). Following re-competition in 2007, the North Texas TBI Model System was awarded an additional 5 year grant by NIDRR.

Pate Rehabilitations serves patients with brain injuries, their families, and the community at large. Pate treats those whose brain injuries have occurred after birth. Among these injuries include: trauma, strokes, infections, poor oxygen supply, and toxic exposure. Some of the services include: day treatment, mild traumatic brain injury rehab, long-term services, and a community program. Pate has two additional locations; one in Irving, TX and the main campus in Dallas,TX.

Reeves offers acute care services for people that have sustained brain injuries. Reeves also offers an outpatient program for patients with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries. The day program focuses on improving cognitive and physical function for the transition into the community and home. The team is made up of physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, rehab psychologists, and social workers. The purpose of the Reeves Rehabilitation Center Day Program is to offer structured rehabilitation that allows the patient to be at home with family.
