The Brain Injury Alliance of Oklahoma (BIA-OK) is Oklahoma's foremost advocacy organization for survivors of brain injury. As a non-profit organization, we strive to educate survivors, family members, professionals, and the public about all matters related to brain injury.
Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven Hospital is a CARF Accredidated 40 bed free standing Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation Program for persons with Brain Injury. We will work with any payor source. We also have a Dual Diagnosis program for patients with Brain Injury and other Behavioral Health or Substance abuse Diagnoses. We have 2 levels of supported Group Homes in addition to the inpatient Program.
The Brain Injury Program is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) as an Inpatient Adult Brain Injury Rehabilitation Hospital. The RehabCare Brain Injury Program is designed to provide services for patients with a variety of brain injuries, particularly traumatic injuries, who have the potential to benefit from an aggressive rehabilitation program. Program services include:
• Behavioral intervention
• Cognitive and perceptual evaluation and retraining
• Problem solving
