The Rehabilitation Institute's Brain Injury Program at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center

The Brain Injury Program is accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) as an Inpatient Adult Brain Injury Rehabilitation Hospital. The RehabCare Brain Injury Program is designed to provide services for patients with a variety of brain injuries, particularly traumatic injuries, who have the potential to benefit from an aggressive rehabilitation program.  Program services include:

•    Oral motor and swallowing skills assessment and management – Vital Stim Therapy
•    Maximizing communication skills

•    Wheelchair positioning and mobility training

•    Support Groups
•    Family teaching – Moving forward after brain injury
