The Airman and Family Readiness Center serves as a one-stop information and referral center for single, married, active-duty, Guard, Reserves, civilians who work on base, and retired members as well as their families. One of its major functions is linkage—ensuring Team Nellis personnel and their families are connected with the appropriate service on and off base.

DVBIC - Carl R Darnall Army Medical Center

The Fort Hood site of the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center extends the overall center’s mission of providing education and clinical care services concerning traumatic brain injury (TBI) to our region’s active, Reserve, Guard and community populations. This is accomplished through close command and community contact, integration of clinical care coordination with the health care delivery system, both on post and in the community network.

El Paso VA Health Care System - VA Medical Center

The El Paso VA Health Care System serves Veterans in far Southwest Texas and Doña Ana County, New Mexico.  The El Paso VA Health Care System (VAHCS) includes the main health care facility located adjacent to William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) on Ft. Bliss, Texas, and two VA-staffed Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) – one in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the second in east El Paso.  The VAHCS provides primary and specialized ambulatory care services at its main campus with consultants and fee-basis specialists supplementing the medical staff.

Polytrauma - South Texas Veterans Health Care System

The San Antonio Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System is one of five facilities in the country designed to provide intensive rehabilitative care to Veterans and Servicemembers who experienced severe injuries (including brain injuries) to more than one organ system. The VA Polytrauma System of Care provides comprehensive, high-quality, and inter-disciplinary care to patients. Teams of physicians from every relevant field plan and administer an individually tailored rehabilitation plan to help the patient recover as much as possible.

The VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS) encompasses the twenty counties of the Laredo, McAllen, Harlingen, and Corpus Christi service areas.
