Polytrauma - VA North Texas Health Care System

The Polytrauma Network Site at VA North Texas Health Care System in Dallas is one of 23 facilities in the country designed to provide long-term rehabilitative care to veterans and service members who experienced severe injuries (including brain injuries) to more than one organ system. VA North Texas Health Care System offers comprehensive rehabilitation training for severely visually impaired veterans. Based on the VIST Coordinator's assessment in consultation with the visually impaired veteran, a variety of services can be arranged. There is a Fisher House on-site, providing free temporary lodging for families of VA patients.
