The Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center has been improving the health of the men and women who have so proudly served our nation. They offer a variety of services including primary care, specialty care, extended care, and women's health. In addition to the main facility, they offer services in four community-based outpatient clinics located in: Grove City, Marion, Newark, and Zanesville.
The Chillicothe VA Medical Center provides acute and chronic mental health services, primary and secondary medical services, a wide range of nursing home care services, specialty medical services as well as specialized women Veterans health clinics. The facility is an active ambulatory care setting and serves as a chronic mental health referral center for VA Medical Centers in southern Ohio and parts of West Virginia and Kentucky.
Cincinnati VA Medical center consists of 2 divisions located in Cincinnati, OH and Fort Thomas, KY. It provides services to 17 counties in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana and has an active affiliation with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Cincinnati provides healthcare services for veterans closer to their homes through Community-Based Outpatient Clinics located in Bellevue, KY; Clermont County, OH; Georgetown, OH; Hamilton, OH; Dearborn County, IN; Florence, KY, and Fort Thomas, KY. Services offered include primary care, specialty care, and mental health.
The Dayton VAMC is a state of the art teaching facility that has been serving Veterans for 146 years, having accepted its first patient in 1867. The Dayton VA Medical Center provides a full range of health care through medical, surgical, mental health (inpatient and outpatient), home and community health programs, geriatric (nursing home), physical medicine and therapy services, neurology, oncology, dentistry, and hospice. The Medical Center has 507 hospital beds.
The Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center provides a full range of primary, secondary and tertiary care services to eligible veterans in 24 counties in Northeast Ohio. Services offered include extended care and rehabilitation, mental health services, and primary care.
The medical center actively supports affiliation agreements, intra-agency agreements, medical education and research, training programs and broad-based research initiatives.
The Cleveland Polytrauma Network Site at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center is one of 23 facilities in the country designed to provide long-term rehabilitative care to Veterans and Servicemembers who experienced severe injuries (including brain injuries) to more than one organ system. The VA Polytrauma System of Care provides comprehensive, high-quality, and inter-disciplinary care to patients. Teams of physicians from every relevant field plan and administer an individually tailored rehabilitation plan to help the patient recover as much as possible.
