The Lexington Polytrauma Network Site is one of 23 facilities in the country designed to provide long-term rehabilitative care to Veterans and Servicemembers who experienced severe injuries (including brain injuries) to more than one organ system. The VA Polytrauma System of Care provides comprehensive, high-quality, and inter-disciplinary care to patients. Teams of physicians from every relevant field plan and administer an individually tailored rehabilitation plan to help the patient recover as much as possible.
