Winneshiek Medical Center's multidisciplinary team, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, provides intensive and extensive care for individuals who have sustained a stroke, head injury, spinal cord injury, brain tumor, and other neurological disorders.
They create an individualized treatment plan for each patient through all phases of care – including acute care while in the hospital or long term care facility, to outpatient care after discharge, to home. The goal is to help each individual achieve his or her maximum potential and functional independence.
