St. Mary's Center for Brain & Spine Surgery provides a range of neurosurgical services, from diagnosis through recovery and rehabilitation, at locations between Denver and Salt Lake City. St. Mary's also offers inpatient and outpatient therapy and rehabilitative services.
St. Mary's Center for Brain & Spine Surgery focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the nervous system - brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. Neurosurgeons provide 24-hour emergency services as part of a trauma team. St. Mary's is designated as a Level II Trauma Center by the College of Surgeons. St. Mary's Center for Brain & Spine Surgery accepts new patients and takes referrals from physicians across western Colorado and eastern Utah.
St. Mary's also offers therapy and rehabilitative services, including an inpatient program for patients with a variety of conditions, including brain injury. The program is staffed by physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, nurses and therapeutic recreation specialists. Social and psychological services are also offered. Once an inpatient leaves the program, rehabilitation often continues at St. Mary's Life Center. Therapists and patients have access to the facilities and equipment of the Wellness Center, a fitness and health club with a therapy pool.
