The Children's Rehabilitation Pavilion houses an inpatient pediatric rehabilitation services and is located on the fourth floor of Levine Children's Hospital. The Pavilion offers 24-hour rehabilitation nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, recreational therapy and cognitive education for children recovering from serious injuries or illnesses. The Pavilion has a therapy gym where physical and occupational therapists work with children on mobility, strengthening, fine motor skills and activities of daily living. A cognitive education specialist helps prepare patients for the return to school. The Pavilion also houses two therapeutic recreation rooms, one for younger children and one for teens, where play is aimed toward rehabilitative goals. The speech therapy space includes an observation room where parents can observe children at work. Private rooms are available for each patient.
