Military & VeteransThe Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center (KC VAMC) is one of eight medical centers in Veterans Integrated Service Networks 15, providing health care services to Veterans in Kansas and Missouri, as well as parts of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Arkansas. The KC VAMC provides comprehensive primary and tertiary healthcare to Veterans in its service area, and provides selected specialty care services to referred Veterans. It also provides education and training to healthcare professionals and performs research that benefits Veterans. The mental health program provides consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a variety of issues that can impact emotional well-being.
In addition to our main facility, we offer services in five community-based outpatient clinics. These clinics are located in: Belton, Cameron, Excelsior Springs, Nevada, Paola, and Warrensburg.
