Military & VeteransSince 1921, the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center (Walla Walla VAMC) has been improving the health of the men and women who have so proudly served our nation. The Medical Center's primary service area includes approximately 65,000 veterans dispersed over a 42,000 square mile area in seven counties in southeastern Washington, four counties in northeastern Oregon, and four counties in western Idaho. The VAMC provides access to comprehensive health care for eligible veterans through primary, secondary and long-term care in a variety of areas, including substance abuse treatment, specialty care, and caregiver support.
In addition to the main facility in Walla Walla, they offer services at five community-based outpatient clinics and two telehealth clinics, located in La Grande, OR; Lewiston, ID; Richland, WA; Yakima, WA; Grangeville, ID; Boardman, OR; and Enterprise, OR.
