Essentia Health Miller-Dwan Rehabilitatation Center

Miller-Dwan Rehabilitation Center at Essentia Health offers inpatient and outpatient programs brain injury patients of all ages. The program is meant for patients whose normal activities are limited by the injury, but who have the potential to return to the community. Located in Duluth, MN, the facility is a 44-bed unit with independent living apartments also on-site.  Treatment teams can include rehabilitation nurses, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, recreational therapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, nutritionists, and other specialists as needed. The inpatient and outpatient brain injury programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) as well as the Joint Commission for health care organizations.
