Clinical supervision of a Client with Traumatic Brain Injury in a Host Home Placement Using Video Teleconferencing: A Case Study
McGrath, N, Dowds Jr, MM, Goldstein, R PhD. Journal of Head Trauma Rehabilitation Vol. 23, No. 6, pp. 357–368.
This report of a case study concludes that video teleconferencing might be useful in maintaining a clinical relationship as well as reducing costs of in-person home visits. Both the client and case coordinator reported satisfaction with the technology, the ease of scheduling, and found the practice effective as a means of communicating clinical concerns and problems in a community-reintegration setting.
