The Fort Bragg Defense & Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) is a multi-site clinical care, clinical research and education center for brain injury supported by the Defense Center of Excellence and the Department of Defense. The DVBIC collects research data and provides treatment and education for active duty soldiers and their family members.
DVBIC also provides education to uninjured personnel and detailed periodic evaluations on soldiers with Traumatic Brain Injury through clinical treatment. The Center also monitors the use of the advanced combat helmets and collects data on soldiers returning from combat with blast injuries, to improve future medical treatment and equipment.
