Beechwood NeuroRehab

Beechwood is a community-integrated program for patients with brain injury or other neurological disorders. The program provides residential and rehabilitation services for medically stable adults, age 18 or older, who are in need of comprehensive, post-acute care. An affiliated program of Woods Services, Beechwood is located in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Residential options range from campus-based homes to independent homes and apartments in the community.

Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania

The Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania (BIAPA) aims to prevent brain injury and improve the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their family members through support, education, advocacy, and research. BIAPA maintains a database of resources, organizes support programs, and provides other information regarding care and support for brain injuries.

Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital

As part of the family of Main Line Health hospitals that includes Paoli, Lankenau, Bryn Mawr and Riddle hospitals, Bryn Mawr Rehab offers physical, occupational and speech therapy services for patients of all ages through the Bryn Mawr Rehab Outpatient Network. There are locations at each of these hospitals, as well as throughout Philadelphia's western suburbs. Delaware Valley Residential Care

Founded in 2012, Delaware Valley Residential Care (DVRC) provides post acute, community based rehabilitation services for survivors of brain injury. We serve persons with traumatic and acquired brain injuries. DVRC is licensed as a Personal Care Home in the state of Pennsylvania by the Bureau of Human Services Licensing. DVRC programs are designed to provide adult survivors of brain injury with resources and support to live as independently as possible.

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona is a 70-bed facility that offers physical rehabilitation services to patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic conditions, cardiac, Parkinson’s disease and pulmonary diseases. The hospital has six core programs, including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurology, cardiac and orthopedics. Both inpatient and outpatient programs are available. Specialized and coordinated rehabilitation is critical in recovering from a brain injury.

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Erie is an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital located on Lake Erie. Services include: rehabilitation nursing; occupational therapy; physical therapy; speech-language pathology; and psychology. Family members are welcome to attend therapy sessions. The staff also provides ongoing education for family members. HealthSouth Erie holds a triple-certification by The Joint Commission in the areas of Brain Injury, Stroke and Parkinson’s Disease Rehabilitation. Specialized and coordinated rehabilitation is critical in recovering from a brain injury.

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital

Magee provides brain injury services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Inpatient stays average a length of 26 days. Treatment teams are lead by a brain injury physiatrist, and treatment plans combine technology and pharmacology with hands-on evaluations and therapies.  Magee maintains relationships with other providers, such as vocational agencies and residential programs, to enable referrals to appropriate support programs. Each case is managed from initial enrollment through follow-up.

Magee Riverfront

Located in South Philadelphia, The Magee Riverfront Outpatient Center offers rehabilitation services, regardless of the severity of the initial injury.
