Leisure Activities Often Change after a Brain Injury

Impact of Traumatic Brain Injury on Participation in Leisure Activities

Researchers found that one year after injury, more than three-fourths of the individuals with TBI studied had not returned to pre-injury levels of leisure activities. Their new activities were less social and more sedentary, such as watching television. More than half of participants were dissatisfied with these changes.
