How many people return to work after acquired brain injury?: A systematic review

van Velzen, JM, van Bennekom, CAM, Edelaar, MJA, Sluiter, JK, and Frings-Dresen, MHW. Brain Injury, Volume 23(6) June 2009, pp 473 – 488.

A review of the literature conducted by a group in the Netherlands found that approximately 40 percent of people with traumatic or non-traumatic brain injury were able to return to work after one-to-two years. Changes in job demands or type of work were common.
